Attorney Alev Bayraktar Yılanlıoğlu, partner of Yılanlıoğlu Law Firm, graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2002. She has a LLM degree on private law from the University of Toulouse, France in 2003.
She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association since 2005.
Alev Bayraktar Yılanlıoğlu has a strong and established experience of 15 years in reputable and well-known international law firms as a Corporate and M/A lawyer. She provides legal assistance to its local and foreign clients in the fields of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures. She assisted many local and foreign investors in their mergers and acquisitions transaction in Turkey, with a significant experience in conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating of transaction agreements (share sale and purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, asset sale and purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.) and completion of the transactions.
She has also an established experience in Competition Law, especially in reviewing the compliance of the vertical and/or horizontal agreements to the competition rules, providing legal advice in connection with the risks of anti-competitive practices, acting as representative of several companies during the pre-investigation and investigation process initiated by the Turkish Competition Authority and notifying M/A transactions to the Turkish Competition Authority in order to obtain prior authorization.
She speaks Turkish, English and French. She is also sworn translator in English and in French.
